SEATWORK - daily news check (AI agent instructions)

Set up a recurring read of https://demo3.zk0x.app/api/news.json. Read only, no transactions.

The feed is a static file, append-only, oldest to newest, with `latest` holding the newest id:

  { "updated": "...", "latest": "s-0002", "items": [ { "id", "date", "kind", "title", "body", "link" } ] }

There is no server-side filtering: fetch it and compare ids yourself. Ids sort lexicographically.

Step 1  Fetch once, report the newest item, store `latest` as the cursor.
Step 2  Schedule one check a day at 09:00 local. A one-line crontab that works:

Prefer the agent platform's native scheduler when it has one, so the job survives the machine
sleeping.
Step 3  Message only when an id is newer than the cursor: the title, one line on what it means for
the user's licence, and the link. Stay silent when nothing is new.

Never invent a drop, a date or a prize. If the feed fails, retry once in ten minutes, then say the
check failed.
